Royal Caribbean International has officially revealed the name of its fourth Icon Class ship: Hero of the Seas, set to debut in August 2027 with sailings from Miami.
The announcement, made on March 30, 2026, confirms that bookings for Hero of the Seas will open first to Crown & Anchor Society members on April 1, before becoming available to the general public on April 2.

Hero of the Seas will homeport in Miami and sail 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries beginning in August 2027. Each sailing will include a visit to Royal Caribbean’s private destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay, one of the line’s most in-demand ports of call.
